Autumn in UK and Europe

For those of us in the UK the days are getting colder and darker and it is a long time until the Chritmas break. It keeps us going if we can fill our free time with trips, weekends away without breaking the bank.

Top Tips for Autumn

  • To keep costs down try a youth hostel. They often have family rooms and rooms for groups and kitchens mean you can save money on eating out.

  • In the UK a  national trust membership can be a good investment, it gives you free parking and they often have great play areas for children. They can break up long jounreys by car too.

  • Look out for festivals such as Oktoberfest and plan your trip around it.

  • If you only have one day try and get outside, you can use Ramblers to search for walks by areas, length and terrain.
